Looking Up Textbooks

Option 1: Canvas

Login to your Canvas and look for the "Follett Discover" icon in the left menu.
Click on it to be redirected to the CRC college bookstore (Follett Discover is the company our college uses to manage textbooks).
Once the new webpage is loaded, change the term to the semester you are attending and click "Update" to see a list of all the textbooks required for your classes.
Click on "Purchase All Materials" to start the checkout process.

Option 2: eServices

Login to your eServices and click on “Manage Classes”.
Click “View My Classes” from the left menu.
Under each class information is a link for “View / Purchase My Textbooks”. Click the link to be redirected to the CRC college bookstore. Textbooks for your courses will be listed, or you can search for them by class.
Click the select box for each textbook option you would like to purchase or rent to “Add to Bag” and proceed with the checkout process from your Shopping Bag.

If no textbooks are listed for your class, it could mean your instructor did not submit a list of required textbooks to the college bookstore. You will need to check you course syllabus to confirm if textbooks or other materials are required for your classes.

Purchasing Textbooks

You can order and pay for your textbooks online using a debit or credit card. If you don’t have access to a credit or debit card, you can email the CRC college bookstore, make an appointment to pickup your items, and pay with cash.

Delivery Options

Shipping:

If you chose shipping as your delivery option then your paperback textbooks will be shipped to your mailing address (no shipping fee will be charged).

Store Pickup:

If you chose the "Store Pickup" delivery option then the campus bookstore will communicate instructions about curbside/contactless pickup at the CRC campus.

Curbside Pickup Hours:
- Mondays – Thursdays 9am - 4pm
- Fridays 9am - 1pm

How to Track Your Order

An updated message will be sent to your Los Rios student email regarding your order status along with a tracking number.

Digital Textbooks

If your textbooks are digital format (PDF, eBook, etc.) check your order confirmation email to see if it contains your textbook activation PIN/Code and a web address to activate your purchase. You may have to create an account with the digital textbook platform to download your ebook or get access to it.
